Personal AI use cases that save you hours.
You don't need a company-wide project to start benefiting from AI. These are the personal use cases we teach first, because they deliver results on day one.
Email and messages.
Paste in a long email thread and ask for a summary and a draft reply. Turn a few rough bullet points into a polite follow-up. Rewrite a tricky message so it's firm but friendly. For most people, email is where the time savings show up first.
Writing and editing.
Proposals, reports, website copy, newsletters and policies. AI gives you a solid first draft so you're editing rather than staring at a blank page. It also tidies up your own writing for clarity and tone.
Meetings.
Record a meeting (with permission) and get a summary with actions and owners. Before a meeting, ask AI to brief you on the client, the agenda and the questions to ask.
Research.
Compare suppliers, check a regulation, understand a new market or summarise a long report. Always check the sources, but AI gets you to the answer much faster.
Planning and thinking.
Use AI as a sounding board. Talk through a decision, map out a project plan or stress-test a pricing idea. It's like having a patient colleague available at 10pm.
Learning.
Ask AI to explain something in plain English, quiz you on it or build you a short learning plan. Great for picking up Excel formulas, marketing basics or new software.
A word on privacy.
Personal use still happens at work. Use a business account, follow your company's AI policy and don't paste in private client details unless your tool and policy allow it.
