AI skills for your team.
Buying AI tools is the easy part. The real difference comes from people knowing how to use them. Two staff members with the same tool can get wildly different results, and the gap is almost always skill.
The skills that matter.
We've broken AI skills into a simple progression your team can work through:
Prompting fundamentals
How to brief AI clearly so you get useful results first time
Projects and custom assistants
Setting up AI with your company knowledge so it understands your business
Reusable skills
Turning your best workflows into saved templates the whole team can run
Prompt library
A shared collection of tested prompts for common tasks
Team skills check
Working out where each person is at and what they need next
Why skills beat tools.
A business with average tools and a skilled team will outperform a business with the best tools and a team that doesn't know how to use them. Skills also make AI safer. People who understand how AI works are better at spotting its mistakes and knowing what not to share.
How we teach.
Our training uses your team's real tasks, not generic examples. A receptionist in a Lower Hutt dental practice and a project manager in a Wellington engineering firm need different skills, so we tailor every session. People learn by doing, with plenty of time to practise and ask questions.
Ongoing learning.
AI changes every few months. One workshop isn't enough. We offer refresher sessions and ongoing coaching so your team keeps up without having to follow every announcement themselves.
Where most teams start.
In most businesses we work with, AI skills are uneven. One or two people are confident and use it every day. A few have tried it and given up after poor results. Others haven't touched it. That's normal. The goal isn't to turn everyone into an expert. It's to get the whole team to a solid baseline, then help the keen ones go further.
What good looks like.
- Staff can brief AI clearly and get a useful first draft without several attempts
- People know which tasks suit AI and which don't
- Everyone checks output before it reaches a customer
- Your best prompts and workflows are saved and shared, not stuck in one person's head
- Staff know what they can and can't put into AI
Measuring progress.
Our team skills check gives you a simple starting point. It shows where each person sits and which skills will make the biggest difference. We repeat it after training so you can see how far the team has come.
Learning that fits the working week.
Long training days are hard to fit around client work. We often run shorter sessions over several weeks, so people can practise in between and bring back real questions.
